Bought this because I wanted a smaller component stand. The bottom shelf was damaged, but the company responded quickly to replace. I gave this a 3 star because it was the most difficult piece of furniture I have assembled and I have assembled quite a few. It came with cams and unless the screw to which it connected was absolutely straight and in the absolutely correct position, the cam would not screw in. Or at least I think that was the problem. It may also have been that the factory holes were off. After much frustration, I ended up not using one of the cams. Since I already had so much assembled, I wasn't going to wait for the company to send me another piece. I already had the pieces scattered in my living room too long waiting for the first replacement.
Otherwise, the stand seems to be made of pretty solid materials. It is quite heavy and is well designed for all those wires one has with components. I like it a lot better than my previous component stand which had glass shelves and really didn't hide the wires well.

We were looking for an audio/component tower/storage device to go with our above mantle tv. This tower looks great beside the fireplace. It shipped fast and was very easy to install (only took around 30 minutes) with minimal tools. I was a bit skeptical about the glass door from the pictures, but it actually works/looks really nice.

... I needed to find a component rack that wouldn't look out of place underneath the television. Most of what's for sale these days is pretty low to the ground and designed to place the television on top at about eye level. But with my Panasonic on the wall with the lower edge hanging about 46" off the ground, those units would have looked horribly out of place.
Enter this unit. It was the perfect combination of shape and storage capacity. It looks great under the television, and I've got more than enough space for my DirecTV box, stereo receiver, Mac Mini, Apple TV and Nintendo Wii.
Assembly was easy enough, and the unit more than likely sturdy enough to survive at least one move. No, it won't last forever, but at this price, the unit was more than a fair deal.
