This is the best thing I've bought - ever! I live in the country and all I seem to be able to grow is weeds. I have had many types of trimmers gas and electric and they all have one thing in common....most of my time is spent replacing the line. But the Pivorim and the extra trimmer line I purchased is excellent. I trimmed my whole yard with the set of line that came with the Pivotrim head. It was very easy and fast to install. I run my trimmer against stones, brick foundations, fencing, etc and still no broken line. It did wear the length of the line but it didn't need changed until the next time I weeded my yard! Can't live without it now!

I've had the pivotrim head and have used the line for almost a year and a half. The line does not last as long at they say in the commercials. As a matter of fact, I was watching tv with my kids and when the Pivotrim commercial came on, they said we should get that. I told them we already had it and they laughed because they have to replace the line fairly frequently.
That said, the line lasts reasonably well. I have to replace the two lines in the head about every third or fourth cutting. That makes the pre-cut line in this pack last almost two years. I'm happy with that. I'm happy with how easy it is to replace the line compared to the tradition line feed system. I don't regret this system or the replacement line at all.

This is a great way to change trimmer line! For years I have fought with spools of line that unravel and cause frustration. This Pivotrim head is awesome. My boys, who now do all of the yard work, love it. The pre-cut line lasts for about 3 trimmings and is really easy to replace (the boys can do it themselves). Major upgrade from the old, spool style.
