The hinge for the stopper broke on the first day of use. It's a poorly designed, poorly constructed part. Looking at the reviews here, the manufacturer has to be aware of this problem.

So far, this is the best mug w/handle I've found. You have to make sure to press the sealer down firmly on the lid or it will dribble a bit. If you do so, it really is leakproof.

We have bought many of these over the years and been very happy, but our latest is 4 months old and the coating is 1/2 worn off. It looks like rather than anodizing them they are using a film now and it just wears off. it has never been in the dishwasher, just hand washed. I don't expect a $20 mug to look worn out after 4 months.
