I don't know why others are saying that this wasn't what they expected. I can tell you that this bedding is SO cute! I had no flaws on my pieces and kind of expected to with the reviews.
This bedding is so bright and cheerful - I highly suggest you purchase this if you like what you see in the picture. It's a beautiful set and very nicely made.

I just received this set yesterday and was so happy when it arrived. I was nervous to wash it because of some of the reviews and it looked so nice (just like the picture on the site), but I knew I had to wash it to use it. I added a 1/4 cup of vinegar to the wash to prevent the color from running because I always do that with a new pair of jeans too. I washed everything but the bumper pads first and it all came out beautifully...just right and didn't even need to be ironed. Then I washed the bumper pads and when I took them out of the washer it looked like the colors had run but we quickly realized that the velvety part of the brown trim had just shed a bit and it was actually lint. I just took a lint brush to it and it looks amazing. I absolutely love this set and we can tell it's very good quality. Washing it didn't change how it looked at all and it's beautiful. I'm so happy with my purchase. For those of you who are hesitant, don't be! It's hard to find a cute, non-pink set out there so just go for it :)

I actually got a fabulous deal on this set from another source. I was wary because I'd seen the review on here about bleeding but the price was way less than half. The only other girl bedding I'd found that wasn't pink and frilly or too simple or too generic was also Cocalo but it was much more expensive. Anyway, I got the 10 piece set, washed it immediately and have had no problems. Its beautiful and everyone comments on how sweet it is. Not sure about others having issues with bleeding but there has been absolutely NONE on mine and I've washed the comforter 2 times. I only wish the sheets weren't so expensive because I'd love to have nothing but the matching sheets. Instead, I had to get a standard yellow and brown to have back ups. BTW, the standard colors work well with the set in case you were wondering.
